CLASSES
Underpinning the work, we do which is a structured programme of learning, development and care, which has been created to enable children to learn through a range of activities. We ensure:
- Children learn through play.
- We work closely with parents.
- Parents are kept up to date on children’s progress.
- The welfare, learning and all-round development of children with different backgrounds and levels of ability, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
BABIES
Fairhaven Kids Babies
We have a fantastic stimulation program that enable us to work with parents to track the milestones. Every parent needs to know 3 things:
- What should my child be able to do at his age.
- How will I know whether he is on track?
- What can I do to help him if he is not?
We focus on ensuring that our babies are on track and if not, we can identify difficulties very early and work on the way forward.
TODDLERS
Fairhaven Kids Toddlers
We aim to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to learn through play. Our program enables our children to feel secure, not pushed or pressured, and to have the confidence to deal with whatever life brings
GRADE R
Fairhaven Kids Grade R
We follow Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS). We also use ‘letterland’ literacy phonetical programme in readiness for preparation for reading. We create opportunities to explore and learn through using muscles, senses and motor skills.
AFTERCARE
Fairhaven Kids Aftercare
Our Aftercare is tailored for our own Fairhaven Kids, which is from 12:30 hrs to 17:30 hrs. We also render this service to learners from the surrounding primary schools assisting with homework.
